Ehquestionmark

It’s difficult to figure out what’s new with Ehquestionmark – like the Masons, they prefer to keep the movements of the organization strictly underground. This much we do know: the British collective keeps on rocking amazing covers for Lex Records artists. They’re also designing the identity, signage, and much more for a fully-functioning organic farm in the Italian countryside. Not bad, lads, not bad.

While the identities of most of EHQ remain unknown, frontman Bhat is a “vagrant, currently staying in Rochdale, Manchester.” From shamelessly harassing him on the internet, we know he’s listening to “lots of early electro and anything high-brow electronic (Autechre, Aphex Twin),” which doubtlessly influences the dystopian, ’80s computer future design he does for avant-electronic label Skam. He retains a love/hate relationship with the Britain he calls home, telling us that his favorite British slang is “island monkeys;” in other words, “what people on the European mainland call the British.”
