Catalina Estrada

Born in Colombia, but based in Barcelona, illustrator Catalina Estrada has her nimble fingers in many projects. Her ornate, beautiful, and brightly colored naturescapes and fantasy worlds continue to pique the imagination of companies worldwide. One of her biggest projects in 2008 was designing the Zodiac Series for Zune, in which she created 12 collectible Zune players based on the Western astrological signs.

This multi-talented woman has also seen her patterns turned into fabric for Brazilian fashion brand Anunciaçao and pieces from the Paul Smith’s collection. And should you only have a few ducats to spend decorating, you too can own a piece of Cati Estrada’s world. In the last year, she’s designed writing papers for Stationery Team, Blackberry skins with Gelaskins, and wall decals for Esvinilo, among many other housewares.
